When it comes to achieving a goal, be guided by this motto: “Anything is progress.” Maybe you can’t wash all the dishes, but you can wash some of them. You can’t paint the whole house, but you can paint some of it. You might not be able to put 3 hours at a time into starting your book, but you can put down an outline or interview one person.

Whatever your goal, do something to progress toward it, whether household chores, raising children, investing, starting your own business, exercise — anything that leads you toward that dream is progress.

I am holy and happy. I want to be holy and happy. I strive each day to be holy and happy. It is my burning desire to be holy and happy and it is my action principle.

Holy means conforming myself (my mind, spirit, body) to the order found in creation. Goodness, truth and love dominate this order. Evil, lies and hate are the antithesis of what ordered creation is all about. Happy means choosing to be happy. It means taking personal responsibility for my well being, sanity and effectiveness.

To be holy and happy means one’s life is meaningful instead of existential. A loving and grateful person confident in his own capacity for goodness. He is not afraid to love or to receive love. He wants at all times to seek the betterment of the other and seek himself second. It means to be fulfilled.

Life is beautiful. I always believe we are constantly learning new things everyday of our life. You must learn what happened in the past to succeed in the future and listen to people who have been there before. To succeed in life, you must always search for your power within yourself and I believe nobody can help you,you must help yourself. In reality you must question yourself there is a reason for my birth in this world and try to find your place and you will. When you start, the signs will come on their own. You must cherish everyday and do something everyday that you did not do the day before, because the way you live everyday – that’s how you are going to live your life.

Be aware that there is a trap almost every adult falls into. This trap sucks the life out of every endeavor. This trap causes indecision and less than stellar results. This trap, if it becomes a habit for you, can paralyze you in your pursuit of a fulfilling, successful life. It is the trap of the word “try”.

There’s no such thing as “trying” something. For example, try to type the word “try” on your computer screen. The result: you either did type it or you did not. Don’t get in the habit of thinking in terms of “try” and you will be clearer to think of the things that you will either do or not do. You won’t muddy the waters of your work.

“Try” is an esteem building word. It’s best used when teaching children. For example, “Nice try, Billy, you’re getting better, keep trying and you’ll hit that ball next time.”

But, as an adult, Billy won’t get much praise for simply trying to make that sale, finish that proposal, or meet that deadline.

Pay attention to how much you think about trying things. Eliminate the option of trying and you’ll see how your life direction begins to clear up.

Don’t waste time. Be on time for every appointment. Arrive early. It’s disrespectful to others to be late. By making a habit of always being on time you will gain a greater awareness and appreciation of time itself and you will get things accomplished in a more timely manner. Time must be managed, not taken for granted. Get projects done before they are due. Time becomes extinct the second it passes. It does not replenish itself. It arrives by the second and is gone in a flash. As you gain more respect for your own time so too will others come to respect theirs and yours. Your time is limited; don’t waste it! Embrace it!

How often we hear ourselves say “I want to get … done” but feel overmatched or not in control of the process of accomplishment. So we resign and grow bitter, resentful to ourselves and poison others around us. There is a very simple solution when needing to do something specific that appears overwhelming simply… do something else! The energy that is set in motion by agreeing to do anything will give you the motivation to attempt the original problem. Simply use the back door. So in short – if you need to fix your sink – sweep your floor.
